Lark Theater is Out of the Dark
Led by our Board of Directors and Bernice Baeza, our Founding Executive Director, and with over 800 donors giving us support from amounts ranging from $5 to $100,000, we finalized our mortgage and long term financing on August 15, 2007 to purchase our building.
This is a remarkable achievement and shows how dedicated volunteers and community can come together and get the job done. It also reveals to all of us how much we treasure our historic American theater and the joy and sense of community it has always brought to Marin County.
Our next Capital Campaign goal is to retire the mortgage. All donations will support the Lark having 100% ownership of its building. Every little bit (and larger amounts of course) truly help. You can also transfer stock and set up an endowment with the Lark Theater.
