The Educational Outreach Program at the Lark Theater allows us to provide teachers and their students an opportunity to view curriculum-related films on the big screen in a movie theater environment at no charge.

A sample of our past outreach films include: An Inconvenient Truth, Supersize Me, National Geographic's Lewis and Clark Expedition (2005), The Merchant of Venice, Up the Yangtze, War Dance, Winged Migration, as well as Spanish and French language films and Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre presentations.

This kind of programming for schools is a powerful tool for expanding awareness and understanding of worlds beyond a student’s personal experience and allows for additional classroom discussion on important current topics that have literary, social, political, health and environmental impacts.
